Laurie James Cope (b. 1998) is an artist and Computer Animation graduate from the University of South Wales. He has worked commercially at post-production visual effect studios, on episodic & film projects for companies such as; Disney, Netflix and Amazon.

Laurie is a London-based artist who's work explores story-telling, technology and catastrophe. He practices; oil-painting, ink, moving-image, CGI, pastel and through writing fiction he established a futuristic-feudal setting for his projects.Over the past seven years he produced an anthology of stories, through image and word. Each year he produces a sketchbook, develops paintings and renders.Laurie’s books include maps, portraits, landscape views and more precise renderings of scenes and experiences accompanied by extensive explanatory texts. The physical manipulation invites a heightened sensation of discovery.

I am an artist and Computer Animation graduate from the University of South Wales. My ability to invoke agency is achieved through technical; modelling, rigging, animating, look development and lighting, however I pursue learning of all creative endeavours.
